P.A.R. Trucking, Inc. - P.A.R. Trucking, Inc is a BULK LIQUID CARRIER transporting CHEMICALS and FOOD GRADE MINERAL OILS. We finally emerged from the stone age with our operations beginning January 1, 2009 with the TransportPLUS! software. P.A.R. was using a DOS based, in house program for dispatching, a 3rd party fuel tax system for IFTA reporting, and have been a long time user of QuickBooks. With the use of TransportPLUS!, I now have eliminated the multiple entries with the old system and eliminated mistakes that were a serious problem when preparing papers for dispatch and billing. P.A.R. has eliminated mistakes and time consuming settlement calculations for owner-operators as well. The pricing for this program was extremely affordable for a small family company. Other software programs did not want to even look at our requirements. TransportPLUS! is a software program that I would recommend not only for BULK LIQUID operations, but also for trucking in general for companies using QuickBooks. Ron Koehn Trucking - Our (manual) dispatching and accounting was very time consuming and too many data entry errors were generated. We had very little money available and most of the programs we found were way out of our price range. After looking at a number of programs and after discussions with a friend who builds accounting software, we finally chose TransportPLUS!. After about two weeks learning to use the program we launched it into our operations. Within 3 or 4 days we knew we had picked a winner! We had used a lease to help us buy the program and after looking at the time saved and fewer errors made we calculated our payback would be in seven months or less. This year we added a second user license which has helped ease our in-office work load even more. We are a small trucking company made up of owner operators located in San Joaquin Valley, California. Upgrades or repairs are easy - just call support and they go online using LiveAssist to take care of your problem! We are very pleased with this product. Dynamic Transportation, LLC - Dynamic Transportation, LLC - This is the second company in which we have used TransportPlus!. We are a 45 truck over the road company that has been in business since 2007. In our prior company we used Transport Plus for over 5 years and were running a fleet of 110 trucks. I tried using McLeod at another company, customer service was very slow and the system was too complicated. It was always very difficult to keep track of the loads on a chalk board, we had two and every time we erased one, we would find the need to have to go back to it. It was difficult to measure the productivity of each truck and driver. The biggest time saver using TransportPLUS! is the ease of selection of customers, equipment and drivers from the data base. We also found that once the information is exported to QuickBooks, 90% of the billing and payroll are already done. Also, we do daily updates from ComData, so it is much easier to see the productivity of the load revenue vs. load expenses. We only have one person in Accounting and one on settlements. Both individuals are cross-trained so when we have vacations or sick leave, everything still gets done the same day. We have found Business Management Software to be a very good company that has stood the test of time. They are very personable and helpful. These people and their systems are user friendly and intuitive.
